Whew! Another week here and gone! The weather has been
outstanding. Seems like we went from winter to spring in a
blink of the eye. I am loving it.
Mom is doing very well at Valley. Thanks to all their help
there she is up walking with a walker. Jesse is doing a
great job. "Keep on trucking Mom"! She thinks she will get
out a week from Friday. Wow she is incredible. What all she
has gone through...is simply amazing. Her progress is
unbelievable.
I hope everyone had a nice Easter. I know I did. I visited a
friend down south and Easter went to church and for the
traditional brunch and maybe a mimosa or two! Smile smile!
Good luck to Larry as he is going in for an angioplasty
soon. He is also stumbling around on a bad leg. I also hope
Shirley continues to improve. She is having severe problems
with her back. I hope something gives. Congrats to Pete He
had a clean bill of health on his last visit! I am so happy
for him.
Bowling was fun as usual. Even better that I bowled fairly
well. It was our last time. Thanks for a great season girls
it was fun. Our banquet is wed night at Fireside. I am not
going to make it as I have to work. Wow I am missing a
party. What's up with that?
Golf starts May 3. I haven't been out yet but I hope to
soon. I am sure I need the practice!
On Sat May 13 George and Rosie Brugger will be having a 50th
wedding anniversary party at the Trading Post starting at
2pm. I hope you can stop by to help them celebrate! 50 years
of marriage deserves a bash! No gifts are requested.
April 20 will be our end of the year Spring Pool league
Party. Everyone is welcome. We have a pool tournament and
cribbage tournament. It starts at 6 p.m. I hope to see you
here. Please bring a dish to pass.
April 22-23 will be our 3rd annual 9-ball pool tourney
starting at noon. We sure had a blast last year! We hope you
can join in the fun. Call Ken Lowery for more information
(715) 795-2005.
I hope everyone had a happy blessed Easter.
Welcome back to all the snowbirds...they keep flocking in!
That's about all for this week. Until next time....
Big Hugs,
Sharon
