Whew!!! Where are the days going. It is August already. Seems like the kids just got out of school and in less then a month they will be catching the yellow bus to Drummond. Elliott starts school Sept 1st. It is a Friday. They go for one day and then they are off Sat. Sun and Monday Labor day. Seems crazy to me! It must have something to do with funding $$$.

Golf was fun as usual. Although I got in trouble in the sand box on hole nine.

The weather has cooled off. Monday it was so darn hot. All you could do is lay in the lake or sit by the A/C. We did get between 5-6 inches of rain. Power outages were reported both Sat and Sunday. Thank goodness the rain came....it was extremely dry and a fire hazard was high.

Harlan came home from the hospital and is doing pretty well. He is continuing therapy and on the road to recovery. Keep up the good work.

My condolences to the Lori McCaske family on her passing.

Unfortunately the Steve Hough memorial golf tournament has been cancelled this year. I will still donate the days sales to Drummond high school for scholarships in his honor.

It was sure nice to see Indiana Bud and collect my hugs.
