Greetings from Brrrrrland! We are in a cold snap that isn't
dissipating. It has been below zero for days! Good for the
ole' gas man! I feel sorry for those who have to work in these
conditions. Our kids had school off on Monday and Tuesday.
Seems like the rest of the week it was colder. I guess it can
always be worse. I would love snow but not like in New York.
That one small town has 7 feet and expecting more.
Wow...that's a pile.
Last week bowling we lost all 7 points. I got my average twice
but nothing to write home about. Better luck next time! We are
on the bottom and don't have anywhere to go but up.
My condolences to the Bonnie Jornd family as she passed away
after heart surgery. We sure are going to miss her. I have
known Bonnie for 30 years. We have had lots of memories. Rest
in peace Bonnie! My condolences to the Dick Berthiume family
on his passing. His wife Carol helped me through a lot when
Steve passed. She was also Elliott's Sunday school teacher.
Dick played on the Barnes Trading Post pool league. It seems
every day someone is passing away. This is a detriment of
living in small towns. Everyone knows everyone. I guess it is
Elliott has been playing basketball. He seems to like it. He
scored the first basket at his last scrimmage game. They tied
12 to 12! It is so fun to watch those little ones play!
Too bad the Bears succumbed to Indy. It was a decent game. As
usual no money for me. Badgers have been rolling in Basketball
though. Something to be proud of! Go Bucky!
Soon racing will start.
