Greetings from the warmth of northern Wisconsin. We had 2 days
in a row where it hit almost 90. My, my! It must be global
warming. We need rain desperately. Fire danger is extreme.
There is a burning ban. I am even afraid to ATV or cut the
grass. On County Y, a squirrel got caught in a power
transformer and sparked a grass fire. Good thing the DNR
station is right across the way. The winds don't help matters.
Please do a rain dance. I sound like a broken record. In the
winter it is snow dances and in the summer rain dances.
Welcome back to all the snow birds...we hope you all had a
very warm nice winter! And, welcome back to Cheryl our
summer employee. Nice to have you back as usual!
We started golf this week. My new partner is Jan Messer. I
golfed ok. We went out another 9 and I had 2 pars. I just love
the game.
Elliott is still practicing and little league games start the
week after next. His has some great coaches.
