Good day from the north woods. The weather has been up and down. The DNR has lifted the burning restrictions. It is still very dry. We did get a bit of rain this week. Please use caution.

Golf was fun this week. I am enjoying golfing with my new partner Jan Messer and I miss my old one Jenneane. Jan and I are about the same. We usually go another 9 holes after league. Practice Practice Practice!


Elliott continues to practice for little league. He had a scrimmage game last Sat in a frigid 42 degree weather with wind off the lake in Grandview.
The beat the Grandview team. Yippee! He also had his first regulation game against Hayward and then wolloped them 16-4. Elliott hit the ball. Smile smile. It was a good moral building game for us. Hayward always has very good teams. It is so fun to watch the 9 and 10 year olds play and practice. If anyone is interested in making a donation to the little league organization please call me. The league serves Cable Drummond, Grandview, Delta, Mason and Barnes area. The teams are all getting new uniforms and equipment which was badly needed.
