Greetings from Barnes. It has been a somewhat uneventful week
up north. It has been hot and sunny. It's summer!
Golf was fun as usual! I golfed about average this week. 39
with my handicap, nothing great not real poor. My partner is
going to fire me, I sure hope not since I really enjoy golfing
with her. We have fun. We usually go out for another nine when
we are finished.
I hope you are feeling better Karna. Best wishes as Karna is
having surgery on Monday! Get well soon!
To the rest of our staff---You guys/gals are the best! I
appreciate everyone of you! Keep up the great work. Thanks to
everyone that pitches in when needed.

The Motel is booking up fast for the summer so if you are
planning to reserve do so quickly! We do have availability for
Labor Day!
This weekend is the Lions Club annual Corn and Brat Festival
and women's softball tournament. It is a great time and the
corn is always yummy. I have a team from Amery/Wanderoos that
always stays with me at the Motel. They are a great group.

A big hats off to all that contributes to VBS, vacation bible
school, at Barnes Community Church. Elliott has had a very
enlightening week so far. This takes much planning and time
for all involved. Thanks for providing this service for our
youth.
Go Brewers, go, go, go!
Packers have their first preseason game on Saturday night! It
seems a bit early for Football.
