Greetings from the warmth and sunshine of beautiful Barnes.
Another month is gone. Where or where has October gone! The
weather is ditto of last week warm days and cool nights.
It was another busy weekend. The hunters were plentiful.
Grouse are everywhere! Many people are scurrying to get the
winterization done. Pontoons are getting put away as are docks
and piers.
Nice to see all my Burlington Friends. You guys rock! And my
new friends from Clam Lake. You party like rock stars. Love
yas! And of course all my buds around here. Thanks for your
continued patronage and believing in the Trading Post.
Bowling was fun as usual, we won 5 of 7 points and we bowled
the first place team. I bowled well despite and deterent. My
halloween costume. It seems the witch was out. Eh he he! I
bowled games of 149 172 and 137 pretty good for someone with
132 average. And someone who wanted so bad to be a no show.
Juice and I had our Halloween costumes on. We were witches so
it was difficult to go bowling. We did it! We had fun as
usual. My teammates were happy I showed. We bowled the first
place team, actually there was a 3 way tie. We took 5-7
points. I am not sure what the other team bowled. My team
thinks I should dress up every week. He he!
I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween.
The Pack won a close game on Monday night. Favre looked
awesome. Bears and Queens both lost. Now we have to worry
about the Lions. Badgers creamed Indiana Hoosiers 33-3 Go
Wisconsin!
To my staff---You guys/gals are the best! I appreciate
everyone of you! Keep up the great work. Thanks to everyone
that pitches in when needed. Good Luck Cheryl as you venture
back to Florida. We will sure miss you!
