Greetings from the one kicking and screaming. Not really. It
was nice being in warm climates while it was frigid back here.
Maybe everyone was pulling my leg! I will know when I get the
heat bills. Florida was great the weather was very nice with a
6 degree higher average of temperature. My flight however on
the the way home was a nightmare. Starting with a medical
emergency with an unscheduled landing, to missing my
connecting flight and staying in Detroit only to have my new
scheduled morning flight delayed. The fun of flying! It was
nice to get away my host and hostess were incredible and we
had a very nice time! Ask Pete Mackey about the tan lines?
The snowmobile trails are reported in good conditions. I get a
first hand report from the groomer in Bayfield County. He said
the trails are in great shape. We received about 4-5 inches of
new snow last night.
Unfortunately I missed bowling due to uncontrollable
circumstances like being stuck at an airport. I am not sure
how the girls faired. I haven't spoke to anyone about pool
either. I bet they had a great time!
Elliott started elementary basketball on Saturday mornings,
they are learning the fundamentals for future play. It is fun
to watch the younger kids play.
The barstool races are this weekend. Come out and enjoy. It is
a fun time! I believe Jeff is riding this year with Wayne
being the musher/pusher. I have gone into retirement.
Our 5th annual 9 ball tournament is April 26, 2008. Call for
more information or to reserve your spot! We always have a
good time!
