Greetings to all of you! I hope everyone had a pleasant and safe Memorial Day Weekend. Thanks to all who serve and served our country! I went to the Cemetery...nice to see my in-laws at least visit their son's grave. It was a very busy and prosperous weekend. We served many a pizza and a zazillion breakfasts. My staff is the best. Everyone always pitches in to lend a help. Good job all of you!

Congrats to the Drummond Class of 2008. There were 39 graduating. Good luck in your future. I handed out 1000 in the Steven Hough Memorial Scholarships, 4 local people were the recipients.

Golf is going better and better. At hidden greens I improved my score immensely. I went from 19 putts to 17, and dropped 10 points. I am still getting use to the course. I had not golfed there in quite some time.

My condolences to Andrea and Cathy on the loss of their father Russ Hegg. Andrea owns Forest Point Golf Course and Cathy has Sunny Point Lodge and use to work for my mother years ago.

I am happy to report Paul Merz is home. He has had a long road after his ATV accident. He will need constant care. My heart goes out to his family. Stay strong. Paul is a wonderful man.
My friend Stan and Lois were in an ATV accident and flipped their ATV last weekend. They are both very lucky with Stan getting the brunt. Please continue to mend and I sure hope there are not head injuries.

Eliott had his first little league game. Their team is very young. Elliott played catcher, pitcher, third base and first. He hit the bowl twice. They lost to Hayward 10-3.

There will be a benefit to help medical costs for Paul Merz at the Cabin Store June 28 starting at 2 p.m. Let's all show our support!
