I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. It was a busy one! My brother and his wife were here visiting for a few days. Many others were closing their cabins up for the winter, some took advantage of the longer weekend.

Elliott started back to school. He is now a fifth grader. He loves his teacher Mr. Perkins. This is the first time he has had a male teacher. All is going well. Yippee! I didn't make it too golf this week as I played tourist. We went to Al Capones Hideaway, on the go karts, Famous Dave's ice cream shop and so forth. It was a fun day. I hope to golf and bowl this week. If all goes well.

A big get well to Susie from Burlington as she dislocated her kneecap and has some fractures. I hope all goes well with the orthopedic Doctor. What a way to mess up a girls night out! She will be having surgery on Tuesday. I hope all goes well.

A big get well to Larry as he was in a car accident he was banged up pretty good. His dog Abbie broke her leg as well. My prayers to Jan as she is having some health issues right now. Of course prayers to Jenneane as she has much on her plate right now!

Once again...I want to thank my staff for a job well done this weekend. We all stuck together and kicked it in. It is nice to know I can count on each of you when I really need you! Your part of the reason The Trading Post is what it is!

Oh course who is thinking about the Packers right now! Next week is there first regular season game against the Queens. Go Pack! The WI Badgers have won two straight games. Go Badgers. The Brewers are making it interesting as well. Go Brew Crew!
